Adapted Drum Musical Instrument
The Adapted Drum Musical Instrument is designed for individuals with one hand to be able to play the drum on a wheelchair tray with ease. The upper wood bar is removable to drum on the lower bar or the upper instrument. This would be good for a student who may only have the use of one hand and is unable to hold the instrument with the other hand.
Mouse Marker Holder
The Mouse Marker Holder is designed for student's with upper extremity and fine motor disabilities to draw with ease. This one is made from an old computer mouse. I have taken out the insides and inserted a burfab (velcro friendly material) band. The student's hand is placed on the mouse and the band is closed over their hand and velcroed snuggly. Once they have chosen their color of marker, it can be inserted into the holder on the front of the mouse. They can now slide it around the page.
Sliding Marker Holder
The Sliding Marker Holder is designed for individuals with grasping disabilities to hold a marker while doing art. This marker holder is made from plexiglass and lifted up off the page with 4 small legs. The marker is inserted into the holder and it can be knocked or slid around the page without disrupting the marker. For some students, use of this will be the first time they have independently made a mark on a page.
Paint Bush Holders
The Paint Brush Holder is a custom adaptation designed for children with grasping disabilities to easily paint. These Paint Brush Holders have been made with a ball grip and a T grip to make them easier for a child to grasp. I cut the paint brushes off short to make them easier to use. The paint brushes can be removed for easy cleaning or to change the color of the paint being used.
Mounted Tambourine
The Mounted Tambourine is designed for students with one hand to play the tambourine on top of a wheelchair table. This mounted tambourine can be turned vertical or horizontal depending on the ability of the students to move their arms.

These Ball and T Grip Paint Brush Holders are designed for artists with grasping disabilities to make it easier for them to hold paint brushes. These paint brush holders have been made with a ball grip and a T grip to make them easier for a child to grasp. The user can cut the paint brushes off short to make them easier to use. The paint brushes can be removed for easy cleaning or to change the color of the paint being used.
iPad Case
This iPad Case is a mounted iPad case designed for students with upper extremity disabilities to attach to their wheelchair. This one is designed for a child who already has a communication device and mount. These cases are good protection in the event that the iPad is dropped. There is no guarantee, if it is dropped, it is bad. But this does add some stability to the unit and makes the chance of it dropping less.

The Camera Fun is a custom adaptation designed for photography students to be able to use a point and shoot camera with ease. In the lid, there is a small piece of glue stick the designer glues to the top of the lid that corresponds to the button the user pushes to take a picture. Carpeted Walker
The Carpeted Walker is a carpeted board added to a child's walker designed for children with lower extremity disabilities to keep their head up while using their walker. The carpeted board is added to the armrests of a child’s walker. This encourages them to keep their head up and to communicate with people they see while moving about the school. The communication button is velcroed onto the carpet and can be moved to a convenient spot for the user.

The Folding Communication Board/Bookstand is a custom adaptation designed for individuals with upper extremity and lower extremity disabilities to use their communication board mounted to a wheelchair tray. In the front (both) is a pic sym strip with a handle on the back. This makes it portable, easy to use at circle time and also acts as a stand when the user sets it down.

The Adapted Paint Shooter is designed for individuals with one hand to make art. It is one of those mega water guns, disguised, as no guns are allowed in school. It was one that runs with batteries and does not have to be manually pumped. It is adapted for use with a single switch and mounted on a lazy susan so it can move easily back and forth. This one has canisters the user can refill so they can be filled with different color paints and switched out.

Adapted pedals for bikes are custom adaptations designed for individuals with lower extremity disabilities to ride bicycles being able to keep their feet on the pedals. This is an adapted foot pedal for a child who is unable to keep their foot on a pedal. The pedal is enlarged by bolting on a wooden cutout of the sole of their shoe. An ankle hugger strap and a toe strap is added as well to the pedals.

This Juice Box Holder is designed for children with grasping disabilities to be able to hold their juice box. This is a juice box holder made of plastic wood. They can also be custom made to hold a specific cup a child may be using. The bases on these are oversized so that they can be clamped onto a table and used without the use of hands.

The Adapted Cardboard Chair is designed for those individuals with lower extremity disabilities to sit in. This is an adapted chair made of corrugated cardboard, glued and laminated 5 layers of open boxes and then all cut out with a knife. Then the pieces were hot glued and taped in place. To finish the chair, it was covered it with paper mache and painted.
Mouth Stick Holder Prototype
The Mouth Stick Holder Prototype is a positioning aid designed for those individuals with upper extremity disabilities to hold their mouthstick in place while working in a classroom. This is a mouth stick holder made to support a student on a work placement, giving the individual easy access to their mouthstick when they need it. This prototype is wider in diameter than the final product, which was made in black and white, a version more appropriate for a teenager.
Reclining Chair Pic Syms
The Reclining Chair Pic Syms is a custom adaptation for a reclining wheelchair designed for individuals with severe physical disabilities to use in a classroom setting. This was a custom piece done for a student who was in a reclining chair for most of the school day. This rested snuggly on the arms of the recliner and was adjustable to the proper angle. This surface was a white board. Another carpeted surface velcroed onto this so pic syms could be placed on it. A mirror could also be velcroed
