Spring Play

7:15 p.m. Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22, at Leland High School. "How the West Was Dun (or ... Left High & Dry in Low Humidity Chasm)" will be presented. Admission: $5 adults, $3 students. The sophomore class will host a mostaccioli dinner fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the school cafeteria. Menu includes homemade mostaccioli, garlic bread, salad and dessert. Cost: $10 for ages 10 and older and $6 for those younger than 10.

April Family Movie Night

Easter Egg Hunt

Noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at the Fox Township Building, 8495 Fox River Drive. Bring an Easter basket to collect the eggs and stay for hot dogs, chips and treats.

Men's Breakfast

7:30 a.m. the fourth Sunday of the month ? next April 23 ? at Millbrook United Methodist Church, 8360 Fox River Road. Each month includes a speaker who presents on topics of interest to the community. Past topics have included taxes, senior citizen programs, political perspectives and conservation issues. Rummage Sale

All proceeds will go to the church roof fund. Note that this sale is not at the church on North Hale Street but at this alternative site.

Spring Egg Hunt

9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Knights Park, 1001 N. Latham St. The Sandwich Park District will host this free event for children ages 12 and younger. Get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny and free vision screenings will be offered for kids thanks to the Lions Club.

Fair City Quilters

7 p.m. Monday, April 17, at the Federated Church, 403 N. Main St. Meeting features a lecture by Mickey Depre on fabric selection followed by a short trunk show and a question-and-answer period. American Legion Fish Fries

5 to 7:30 p.m. Fridays at the Sheridan American Legion Post 729, 300 W. Si Johnson Ave. The fish fry includes a choice of catfish or cod, fried or poached, with fries, hush puppies and a complete salad bar for $8.50. Carryouts are available by calling 815-496-2380.

Our Sharing Pantry

4 to 6 p.m. the third Monday of each month ? next, April 17 ? and 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursdays at St. John's Lutheran Church, 235 S. Green St. Doors open 15 minutes before distribution begins. The pantry is closed on holidays. Our Sharing Pantry provides free food to low-income families living in Sandwich, Somonauk and Leland.
