Need to take a break from caregiving? Now you can with a new drop-off respite care program being offered by Alzheimer's Orange County. To use this new service, simply reserve a date and time and then drop off your loved one at the brand new R&R Respite Program at the new South County Adult Day Center located at 24260 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods. You will be able to run errands, go to medical appointments, meet with friends, or just relax for a few hours, all with the peace of mind knowing that your loved one is being supervised and cared for in a safe and caring place.

With the assistance of funding from the Foundation of Laguna Woods Village, there is a limited time offer for Laguna Woods residents. They can try the new R&R Respite Program for FREE. An initial screening and paperwork are required prior to starting. For more information or to enroll, please call 949-855-9444 and ask to speak to a social worker about the R&R Respite Program.

A full range of adult day care services and support are available for individuals affected by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. The services provided include hot meals and snacks, supervision by a licensed nurse, activities and exercise, and maintenance physical therapy.

The Foundation of Laguna Woods Village is proud to partner with Alzheimer's Orange County to offer this new service and also to assist Village residents facing financial difficulties.
