Committee successful in obtaining speaker

Aging People With Disabilities District 11 Diversity Committee submitted a grant proposal to the Office of Equity and Multicultural Services, which works under Department of Human Services Director’s Office, to bring Michael Hulshof-Schmidt as a guest speaker at “Unpacking Held Identities: Understanding Privilege, Diversity and Equity” that was held on May 18 in Klamath Falls.

The committee includes Klamath and Lake counties and is led by co-chairs Brenda Mendoza-Serrato and Dorybel Leon Herrera.
