WORK CONTINUES ON N. 10TH ST.

The Gazette - 8/3/2017

PROSPECT PARK -- Work is being done at the intersection of Brown Avenue and North 10th Street to repair sidewalks and curbs and to install ramps that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The road will be milled and resurfaced as part of the project.

Brown Avenue from North 11th to North Seventh Street; North Ninth Street from Fairview to Haledon avenues; and North 10th Street from Fairview to Struyk avenues are being repaired this summer. Work is expected to be completed before school begins.

Streets are closed to through traffic while curb and sidewalk repairs are being done, but are open to residents. When milling and paving is being done -- which should start around the first week of August, depending on the weather -- the roads will be closed to all motorists. Residents who live on the streets will have to move their cars.

Stanzilae Construction of Bloomfield is the contractor for the project.
