Offers health education programs including Healthy Pregnancy, Healthy Baby, Child Care Training, Back Injury Prevention, and HIV/AIDS prevention education. Courses, speakers, and printed materials are available to support all programs. Also provides direct health services including immunization clinics; blood pressure screening clinics; and referral to Women, Infant, Children (WIC) program. Youth programs include a babysitting course, basic first aid training, HIV/AIDS prevention education, and water safety training. The professional training program offers a basic life support for professional rescuers course, continuing education for registered nurses (RNs) and licensed vocational nurses (LVNs), and nurse assistant training classes. Also trains health professionals to deliver community health education and services.
