KICK IT CALIFORNIA: SMOKING CESSATION PROGRAM

The California Smokers’ Helpline is a free telephone-based, stop smoking program that doubles your chance of quitting for good. Services are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese and include telephone counseling, self-help materials, referral to local cessation programs, online help, and a text message program. Specialized services are available for teens, pregnant smokers, and tobacco chewers. Free nicotine patches are available for qualified callers who are pregnant, have children ages 0 to 5, or who speak Asian languages.
