Communication Recovery Groups Program of Riverside. This program, which was created and directed by Candace Vickers, Ph.D., CCC-SLP for 20 years at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, has a new branch at California Baptist University, Riverside. The program uses trained student volunteers to reach out to older adults with speech, language, hearing or cognitive difficulties under the supervision of medical speech language pathologist.
