Provides meaningful part-time work for American Indians and Non-Indian Seniors ages 55+ older. Applicants must meet the Federal Poverty Guideline Criteria. The Program provides seniors with the opportunity to develop new skills and job experience while training on the job. Benefits the program offers are an Annual Physical Examinatioon, Personal Counseling, Job-related counseling, earned wages. and assistance in finding employment. The program offers services to the Community in areas such as schools, Hospitals, Senior Citizens Centers, Nutrition Programs, Day Care Centers, and many other areas. The senior trainee is given the opportunity to maximize their transferable skills from their former occupations while learning newer marketable skills.
