Head Start is a federally funded part-day and full-day preschool program for children ages 3-5 of low-income families. State Preschool is a state funded part-day program for preschool age children of low-income families. Both programs offer comprehensive services to children and families, including children with disabilities. Support services include medical/dental, mental health, nutrition, social services, and parenting education.
