The Salvation Army operates older-adult residences which provides a clean, safe and comfortable housing in an environment that is sensitive and responsive to the needs of individual residents. Subsidies are available at most facilities for low-income residents or handicapped individuals who qualify. Silver crest provides active seniors with limited income the opportunity to continue independent living in a pleasant, safe and comfortable apartment of their own. Many join in social activities, shopping and field trips together. Locations in San Diego: Chula Vista, El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside and San Diego. The sixth location is here in Riverside County.
