SDBIF's mission is to improve the quality of life for brain injury survivors and their families. The SDBIF provides support, education and resources to brain-injury survivors and their family members and caregivers. They promote public awareness and social advocacy regarding brain injury. They believe that is it important for survivors of brain injury to be provided with opportunities to recover to their greatest potential and be welcomed back into the community. They offer case management, a peer mentoring program, vocational support services, speaker group meetings, peer support group, brain injury guide for families, community outreach & education, and much more. The SDBIF serves brain injury survivors that reside in San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial Counties.
