JFS Desert has 2 offices in Palm Springs and Palm Desert . Each office offers individual, family and group counseling for a sliding scale fee as well as accepting RCHC, MediCal, Medicare and most private insurances. JFS also has counselors in 12 schools in the PSUSD providing free counseling for students and families. JFS offers 10 week Intensive Outpatient groups in both offices for teens 12-18 with substance abuse and depression. JFS geriatric care managers assist the elderly of the Coachella Valley with transportation , friendly visitors, form completion, utility assistance counseling and assuring that seniors they have the food and medications they need.
