Substance Abuse Administration is responsible for maintaining program consistency, contractor relations, insuring State and Federal regulatory compliance and fiscal planning and oversight. Through monitoring, report development and policy, administration insures effective and consistent quality of program throughout the county. It negotiates and implements contractor agreements and memorandums of understanding, trains and builds alliances with its providers and county departments to deliver services to the residents of Riverside County. Additionally, Administration oversees Title 9, Title 22, Alcohol and Drug standards and State CALOMs compliance. It maintains budgets, county personnel levels, recommends funding allocations, applies for grants and other activities related to keeping the program operational and stable. Substance Abuse Administration supports 7 Substance Abuse County Clinics, 5 AB109 Services Clinics and 23 private providers (at 44 locations).
