RIVERSIDE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH: ADOLESCENT FAMILY SERVICES

AFS case managers provide comprehensive services including medical, psychological, nutritional and health education assessments. Clients receive referrals for medical care, job training, education, financial assistance, legal advice, counseling, food, housing, parenting classes, child birth preparation, family planning and childcare. Services may be ongoing until the age of 20. These services are provided under a sub-contract through the Public Department of Social Services. These services are available to CalWORKs clients, pregnant women or parents who are under the age of 19 who have children but have not graduated from high school.
