Community-based emergency services for adults and youth experiencing a crisis related to a mental health condition. Services include: assessment, urgent mental health care and referral to mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse treatment services. Admission to our services is voluntary with the exception of involuntary holds referred to as Welfare & Institutions Code (WIC) 5150. Persons may remain under CSU's care for up to 24 hours for intensive treatment services.
