Mizell Senior Center's multi-faceted network of programs and services for older adults is designed to encourage creativity, promote lifelong learning and sustain an active, healthy and engaged lifestyle. Mizell is the only Coachella Valley sources for "A Matter of Balance" a comprehensive falls prevention course offered at more than 20 Valley locations. Lastly, Mizell's Meals on Wheels program prepares and distributes 400+ meals every weekday to homebound, and often isolated seniors, as well as to congregate lunch programs at 9 Senior and Community Centers, including our own Café 480, from Whitewater to North Shore at the Salton Sea. Staff drivers deliver all meals and perform wellness check on homebound clients.
