Switch Games for Teens is a control switch training program designed for use by teens and preteens with uppper extremity or multiple disabilities. Games include Arcade, Switch Wars, and Scan & Match 4, 5, & 6. Arcade's options include simple cause and effect and linear scanning. The Scan & Match activities encourage visual discrimination while focusing on the pictorial categories of food, clothing, grooming items, people, places, and signs. A variety of skill levels is offered. COMPATIBILITY: The hybrid CD-ROM offers versions for use on Macintosh and IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The Macintosh version requires a 68040 processor or a Power PC, a CD-ROM drive, and 8 to 16 megabytes (MB) RAM. The IBM version requires Windows 95/98, 32 MB RAM, CD-ROM drive, SVGA monitor, monitor resolution of 600 x 800, sound card, and speakers.
