The Vibrating Personal Pager is a tactile paging system for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, or individuals without disabilities who prefer a silent page signal. This wireless, battery-operated system consists of a small vibrating receiver and a choice of two different transmitters. It will work up to a range of about 100 feet both indoors and out, and through most barriers such as walls and doors. One transmitter is activated by a Push-Button ($79.95), the other by Sound ($89.95), such as a doorbell or phone ring. Both transmitters send a signal to the receiver which causes it to vibrate, alerting the wearer they are needed. POWER: The receiver and Sound-Activated Transmitter use 2 "AA" batteries each (not included); the Push- Button Transmitter uses a 12-volt battery (included). DIMENSIONS: The receiver and Sound-Activated Transmitter are about the size of a deck of cards; the Push-Button Transmitter is about the size of a matchbox. WEIGHT: 5 ounces with batteries. COLOR: White casing. WARRANTY: One year.
