The Up/Down Switch, model 854, is a puzzle switch designed to encourages depth perception training and enhance visual-motor tasks for individuals who have cognitive, sensory or physical disabilities. The puzzles introduce basic cognitive concepts, improve fine motor skills and develop order and sequencing skills which are important building blocks for logical thinking and organization. The switch consists of a wooden base with 5 round slots, each of different depths, and 5 multi-colored cylindrical pegs of different lengths. Activation requires that each peg be inserted into the proper holes to form an even row. Any toy or device connected to this switch will be activated when such a row is achieved.
