The Laborsaver Button Station is an elevator call button system designed to lower existing elevator hall buttons to wheelchair level without rewiring. The fixture is surface-mounted to the existing station, eliminating any need for piping, rewiring, patching, or the installation of a new electrical wall box. The device features a backplate that bolts to the existing hall station box. The prewired electrical harness is butt spliced to the existing wiring and the faceplate is then attached to the backplate with hidden screws. The vandal-resistant buttons are machined from stainless steel and the LED display is protected by a Lexan window. OPTIONS: Special engraving or lettering, fire department key switch, custom dimensions, and others. DIMENSIONS: The faceplate is 7 inches wide x 22 inches high. The centerline of the buttons is 19 inches from the top of the plate. The faceplate covers existing buttons up to 61 inches from the floor and up to 5 inches wide. When properly installed, the button station is 42 inches from the floor. COLOR: Natural stainless steel or bronze.
