The BCW Power Wheelchair is a powered wheelchair designed for use by obese persons with mobility disabilities. FRAME (WxDxH): Model BCWPR2018 is 27.5 x 40 x 41 inches; model BCWPR2218 is 29.5 x 40 x 41 inches; model 2418 is 31.5 x 40 x 41 inches; and, model BCWPR 2618 is 33.5 x 40 x 41 inches. All models have a heavy-duty, stainless-steel rigid frame with a baked urethane finish to resist chipping, scratching, and fading. The frame comes standard in black. Red, teal, silver, and charcoal chrome are available at an extra charge. Anti-tips are standard. CONTROLS: Right- or left-mounted electronic joystick controller and rheostat speed control. RWD: Belt-driven rear drive wheels. SEAT: The standard seat is 20 inches wide and 18 inches deep. 19- to 24-inch depths in one-inch increments and 22-, 24-, and 26-inch widths are optional. The standard seat height is 21.5 inches. The standard back is 16 inches high. Optional back heights range from 17 to 26 inches in one-inch increments. A solid seat and back, three styles of seat belt, and a powered reclining back are optional. A removable 10-inch headrest extension and a removable, adjustable contoured headrest are also offered. CUSHION: One- and two-inch thick foam cushions in 20- to 26-inch widths are available. Custom cushion sizes and gel cushions are special order items. UPHOLSTERY: All models feature heavy-duty, stain-resistant vinyl over high-density nylon mesh. Upholstery is available in a choice of black, blue jay blue, burgundy, slate, hunter green, and mauve. Custom colors are available at an extra cost. ARMRESTS: The armrests are 10.5 inches high. Removable, padded desk-length armrests are standard. Removable full-length armrests, removable full-length wrap-around armrests, and removable, full-length reclining armrests (with reclining back option) are available. BRAKES: Automatic brakes are standard. Push to lock wheel locks are also included. Wheel lock extensions are available. CASTERS: 8 x 2 inch casters are standard and 6 x 1 inch casters are offered at no charge. WHEELS: 20-inch molded mag wheels with pneumati tires are included. Pneumatic tires with flat-free inserts are available. FOOTRESTS: No front rigging is standad. Swingaway footrests, elevating swingaway legrests, hemi legrests, reinforced, and specially constructed footrests are available. Removable, powered, elevating legrests are also offered. Other options include full support foot or calf boards, heel loops, large foot plates, extra-large calf pads, and legrest extensions or shortening. OPTIONS: A telescoping IV pole and a carrying pouch are available. POWER: The chair features two heavy-duty four-pole motors with replacable brushes. It requires two 12-volt gel cell batteries (not included). The chair features fully automated charging. Battery cases and the battery charger are included. SPEEDS: A rehostat allows the user to control speeds. Range depends upon terrain and user weight. CAPACITY: 600 pounds. WARRANTY: Five-year frame warranty and a one-year limited warranty on the electronics and all other components.
