Precision Scale Magnifiers are designed for use in fields of engineering, printing and medicine for individuals with low vision. They provide precise measurings with distortion-free optics. There is close focusing by using the focus arresting ring. The magnifier includes interchangeable measuring scales for different applications. The lens is eithe Achromatic or Aplanatic with magnification ranging from 6x to 10x. The body is made of fiberglass reinforced polyamide. OPTIONS: An illumination unit comes with an incandescent battery handle and bulb for $16.75. Head only for unit is available to be used with Illuminated Handles (see separate entry).
