The Galilean Telescope System, model 1621, is a monocular lens designed for mounting in spectacles for individuals with low vision. This system has been calculated and designed to eliminate astigmatism of oblique incidence and distortion as well as to largely exclude chromatic aberration. The base magnification is 2.2x and the visual field is 14 degrees with a focus range of 250 to 100 meters. The lens is housed in black plastic. OPTIONS: Reading caps allow for near vision. Magnification of base with cap ranges from 1.65x to 8.8x with 12 degree visual fiels and a working distance ranging from 330 to 63 mm. Prices range from $45.60 to $49.15. WEIGHT: 16 grams.
