The Protac Ball Cushion is a sensory cushion designed to provide balance and sensory motor training to people who have difficulty sitting still due to concentration disorders, balance disorders, or sensitivity disorders. The cushion, which is made of polyester/cotton and filled with plastic balls, has a non-skid material sown on its back to prevent the cushion from sliding off the seat. When a person sits on the Ball Cushion, the cushion’s flexibility prompts the individual to move beyond his or her body's center of gravity. The body automatically senses this shift in weight and sends an impulse to stimulate the back and abdominal muscles, so that ultimately, the individual can remain upright. Not only does the Protac Ball Cushion help individuals maintain their balance, but it also serves to promote greater bodily awareness and improve their sitting posture and concentration levels.

Designed for both children and adults, the Protac Ball Cushion is suitable for people affected by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), balancing disorders, cerebral palsy, concentration disorders, hyperactivity, learning disorders, sensory disturbances, and/or spasticity.
