The Talking Magic Roller, model 1652, is a switch operated toy designed for use by children with upper extremity or severe physical disabilities. A slight touch rolls the cylinder, starting a story, songs, or the alphabet. The toy has a built-in sequential recorder which allows as many segments as desired to be recorded and played. Roll the toy, and the first line is spoken, roll again and the next segment is spoken. If the child cannot roll the toy, a switch (not included) can be used to run the built-in roller motor. Further, the roller can be removed from the stand and played with on the floor, a board, and a table. Total recording time is five minutes. POWER: The roller uses four double-A batteries and the stand uses two double-A batteries (batteries not included). DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): The base is 8.5 x 12 x 5 inches.
