HeartFlex is an arm and hand exerciser designed for use by children and adults with mobility or lower extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. Designed to improve grip, forearm, and upper body strength, this device specifically produces strong dense muscle tissue while increasing flexibility. It uses nineteen connected ball and socket joints that provide consistent resistance over a complete range of motion. HeartFlex has one set resistance level and this is calibrated to be similar to the resistance encountered when moving an object, such as a hand, underwater. The device relies upon multiple repetitions over time to build strength. The unit has a soft foam grip at each end. The set includes a color brochure demonstrating four general exercises and a DVD instructional video that illustrates over thirty upper body exercise movements that can be performed with the device. DIMENSIONS: 26 inches long. WEIGHT: Less than one pound. WARRANTY: The unit will be replaced if found to have manufacturing defects.
