The Wave is a switch-adapted trackball designed for classroom use by individuals with limited hand control, motor skill or hand-eye coordination disabilities, and/or involuntary muscle spasms. Intended to provide plug-and-play access to classroom computers, this device features an oversized trackball with free-running movement that requires only the slightest touch. Color-coded buttons allow for left/right clicks, as well as drag lock, enabling users to "lock on" to a screen object so it can be dragged without continuously pressing a button. The buttons are mounted sub-flush to prevent accidental activation Features include two switch input jacks for single-switch access to left/right click buttons, optical technology with no mechanical wearing parts, and a large footprint for stable operation and wrist support. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible or Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: PS2 or USB port (no other drivers required).
