The Braille Enthusiast's Dictionary, compiled and edited by Koenig and Holbrook, is a braille manual designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This volume presents braille transcriptions of more than 29,000 common and not-so-common words in the English language. All listings are in conformity with the latest revisions of the braille code. Syllabic divisions are shown for words in inkprint, and a listing of prefixes and suffixes is given for all those words in which a contraction is not used because it would cross a major syllabic division. Guide words are provided on each page. An appendix includes information on producing high quality braille, including a brief listing of the most basic formatting rules for braille.
