Making Language Visible

Making Language Visible is a language tutorial and training program designed for use by children with communication disabilities. The CD has programs that prepare the child for beginning communication and interaction, including eight simple, interactive IntelliPics Studio (see entry) activities that can be used with a single switch, mouse, touch window, or IntelliKeys (see entry). Activities include Goldilocks, Three Piggies, Three Fishies, Three Duckies, Animal Fun, Number Fun, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and ABC Fun! These activities have charming graphics and feature a young child singing. Prop pages are included for making props. The CD also has ready-to-print displays for use in the home of young infants/toddlers or preschoolers who are nonverbal and have significant disabilities, as well as displays for classroom activities like snack time, circle time, diapering, mealtime, washing, and transition time. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers running Windows or Macintosh computers.
