The Butler Inclined Platform Wheelchair Lift is an interior wheelchair lift designed for use to enable wheelchair users to traverse stairways. The lift has two rails that mount on the landings at the top and bottom of the stairs with no modifications needed to walls. The power unit can be located almost anywhere at the bottom of the stairs including through an adjoining wall. The lift has three directional switches on the platform, at the upper landing, and at the bottom landing. All switches are momentary (constant pressure) switches. An optional end ramp and guard folds automatically and locks firmly in place during operation or when the unit is at rest at the top of the stairs. An emergency stop button is included. To keep the user from being stranded in the event of a power failure, pulling a lever causes the lift to coast to its lower level position. OPTIONS: Wall mounted controls. POWER: Uses standard residential or commercial 110-volt power. An optional battery backup is available. DIMENSIONS: Each of the rails takes up four inches of stair width when the unit is not in use. CAPACITY: 750 pounds. COLOR: Tan or brown. Custom colors are also available. WARRANTY: Five- year limited warranty.
