Welding Skills is a prevocational job skills training system designed for use by individuals with learning or cognitive disabilities. This series of two duplicatable books can be used by high school students and adults independently or in groups and is designed to help develop job readiness and prevocational job skills. The first book, titled "Welding Processes I" include: fusion welding principles, industrial gas cylinders, tip selection and oxy-acetylene safety, oxy-fuel gas cutting, properties of industrial gases, regulators, and calculating kerf. The second book, "Welding Processes II," includes: arc welding processes, mig/tig welding variables, stick arc welding, and mig/tig welding principles. The duplicatable books are available in digital format (Word or PDF) after purchase at no additional cost. This allows the print to be enlarged and the materials to be put into alternate formats.
