---- PROTOTYPE --------- PURPOSE: To design a prototype of a computer mouse alternative for individuals with fine motor disabilities and other disabilities the restrict the use of the hand. The Ringbow is a ring worn on the user’s finger that operates as a mouse letting the user control the touch functions for a touchscreen computer. The Ringbow works with the touchscreen electronic tablet technology allowing the device to know which finger is touching the display. With the Ringbow on, the user uses his or her thumb to operate it so that he or she need not be bound to the actual surface of a touchscreen display in order to operate a computer or tablet. For example, just tap the Ringbow with your thumb in order to activate a right or left click action. AUTHOR: Edwin Kee. TITLE: Ringbow device offers a mouse-y alternative. WEBSITE: übergizmo®.
