ClozePro is a voice output, large print, and switch adapted testing program designed for use by students who need test-taking accomodations, including students with cognitive or learning disabilities, physical disabilities, blindness or low vision. This assessment tool enables a teacher in lower or upper elementary or secondary school to build a cloze activity from any text in any subject area. For standardized test preparation and alternate assessments, it provides the teacher with detailed information about student performance that can inform teaching. It can be used to create activities or worksheets on screen, paper, or a whiteboard, based on text pasted from any Web site or document, with automatic assessment of student progress. Widget Symbols, Mayer Johnson PCS and SymbolStix symbol libraries can be used with ClozePro. The software also feature speach capabilities, customizable prompts and the ability to create differentiated activities adapted for students of different abilities. For students with low vision, ClozePro has customizable zoom options; special high-contrast color options; variable line spacing; and a large toolbar option.
