The Draw-Loc is a bow release aid designed for use by people with limited hand and arm movement and strength. The Draw-Loc consists of a rod that fits into a mount bolted to the center of a compound bow. The mount fits left- and right-handed bows. A release with a safety is attached to the end of the rod. The user can attach the bowstring to the release with a loop and engage the safety, and then draw the bow by himself or herself or have another person draw the bow by sliding the rod back until is locks into place. When drawing the bowstring, the bow can be held in place with user’s foot. The arrow is then loaded into the bow, and the user aims and opens the release to fire. The manufacturer recommends that only string loops be used with the Draw-Loc; metal or plastic type D loops are not recommended. The rod is removable for storage. DIMMENSIONS: The rod is 33 inches long and can be cut to the user’s draw length. WEIGHT: 20 ounces.
