Flexrim

The FlexRim is a handrim designed for use by people with mobility and lower extremity disabilities and spinal cord injury and others who use wheelchairs. This rim replaces the chair’s existing handrim and adds less than five ounces to each wheel. The handrim is made of soft, high friction rubber that attaches to the push rim of the wheelchair. It molds to fit the hand, acting as a cushion and flexing to conform to the user’s hands and arms and provide shock absorption for the user’s hands as he or she pushes. The handrim’s seamless design prevents finger jamming or dirt getting into hands by eliminating all gaps and metal tabs. SIZES: Fits wheels 24 or 25 inches in diameter. COLOR: Black, blue, red, white, pink, yellow, orange, or green.
