This 3D Printed Bionic Hand is a hand made for people without hands to give them the ability to function with a hand. It is 3D printed, can be made at home, and for a fraction of the cost. Normally, a prosthetic hand would cost £80,000, but this bionic hand costs under £2,000. This prosthetic was developed to give disabled people more control over their lives and accessibility.

Technical Specifications:
  • Materials: Strong, rubbery plastic and steel cables (which operate the fingers). Sensors in the fingers detect muscle movement in the arm.
