The Finger Dexterity Exercise Game for Fine Motor Skills is a fun exercise for children that increases dexterity and helps them complete self-care tasks. This activity gives the player the ability to manipulate their fingers in a coordinated manner, allowing them to skillfully maneuver buttons, zippers, shoe laces, pencils, and other tools of learning and play. The Finger Dexterity Exercise Game for Fine Motor Skills exercises the little muscles of the hands, isolating fingers, and separating the two sides of the hand. It is a Do-It-Yourself exercise game.

Technical Specifications: 

Materials: 6 acrylic paints and bubble wrap.

Step One: Paint the back of the piece of bubble wrap a different color for each bubble.

Step Two: Let the paint dry.

Step Three: Turn the bubble wrap right-side-up.

Step Four: Practice finger isolation by asking the child to match the colors, pointing at them with one finger, one at a time, exercising precision. Or, play the color matching game by calling out a color and having the child walk their finger to a bubble and pop it.
