Etac Clean Self Propelling Shower Commode is a shower commode with rear wheels positioned to maximize the maneuverability designed for bariatric patients’ hygienic use (with 24-inch self-propelling wheels). Side transfers can be performed safely due to sufficient seat space in front of the wheels. Brake handles are positioned just underneath the seat not to obstruct transfer but still being easy to reach. The seat has a recess at the front and is fully open at the rear which enables unassisted intimate hygiene. Regular cleaning and inspection of castors. Patients or caregivers clean the chair with a solvent-free detergent which has a pH of 6-9, or with a 70% disinfectant solution. Can be decontaminated at a maximum temp of 85 degrees Celsius.
