The Medline Curad Xeroform Sterile Petrolatum Gauze Dressing is designed for individuals with open wounds, cuts, burns, or skin tears. The dressing is a U.S.P. absorbent fine mesh gauze with 3% Bismuth Tribromophenate, a medicating and deodorizing agent. It clings conforms and maintains moisture which helps prevent secondary dressings from sticking to wound/peri-wound skin to help prevent trauma with dressing changes. This dressing is non-adherent and permeable to allow minimal drainage to pass through to secondary dressing.
