Monster Munch Fine Motor Game on Light Box is a do it yourself activity designed for children with fine motor and sensory disabilities to exercise pincher grasp and finger strength.

Technical Specifications: 

Step One: Gather materials

  • Chip clips
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes
  • Pom poms
  • Glue
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Light table

Step Two: Cut up the Pipe cleaners with the scissors about 1 inch each.

Step Three: Glue the Googly eyes and a Pom pom to represent a nose on the chip clip to make a monster face.

Step Four: Use the extra pipe cleaners and pom poms as food for the monsters to feed on. Lay the cut up Pipe cleaners and extra Pom poms out on a flat surface and use as food for the monsters. Munch on them with the monsters.

Step Five: Play with the monsters and food on a light table for extra sensory play.
