The Turkey Baster Pom Pom Race is an occupational therapy game designed for individuals with upper extremity disabilities to work on fine motor skills. To play, the child or children sit at one end of a table. They hold the turkey baster with pincher grasp and “baste” the Pom pom, squeezing the plastic part of the baster, and “baste” it to the other side of or off the table. If playing with more than one child, make it a race between them. If not, the parent or occupational therapist race the child.
