How Many Cows on the Farm Counting Game is a do it yourself activity designed for those children with learning disabilities to practice early math skills. By letting the child lead helps them to show the user what they have already learned and what skills they are interested in learning.
Technical Specifications:

Step One: Gather materials.

  • Farm mat (download).
  • 1-2 Dice.
  • Cow graham crackers (Horizons), cow figurines, or cow foam stickers.

Step Two: Print and laminate the farm mat.

Step Three: Roll the die and place the correct number of cows on the farm.

Step Five (optional): Use two dice to work on addition.

Step Six (optional): When the child decides to eat the crackers, the users can work on subtraction.
