The DIY Pencil Grip is a do it yourself writing aid designed for students with upper extremity disabilities to learn how to write ergonomically. It is made out of a tennis ball. Instructions below.

Technical Specifications: 

Step One: Gather materials.

  • Scissors.
  • Tennis ball.
  • Pencil.

Step Two: Cut two holes in the tennis ball. One on the top and one on the bottom, directly above and below each other. Cut in the form of a 1/2-inch "X".

Step Three: Poke the pencil through the two holes.

Step Four: Use the pencil.
