The Elevator Button is a custom adaptation to an elevator (without violating its warranty) designed for those individuals with muscular dystrophy to voice activate elevator buttons. This product was invented at a Tikkun Olam Makers makeathon in the District of Columbia. Makers designed shelves that can go up and down, and then slide out for John to reach his games or treats and also created a voice-activated system to activate the elevator without violating the elevator warranty.
