Sensory Light & Touch Bridge

The Sensory Light & Touch Bridge is a do it yourself product designed for blind students to use in the classroom during rest and relaxation time. To assemble, follow the instructions below.

Technical Specifications: 

Step One: Gather materials.

  • 2-inch PVC pipes and caps.
  • Rope lights.
  • Garland.
  • Hanging toys that make sounds.
  • Beads.
  • Paper lanterns.

Step Two: Assemble the PVC pipes as pictured. The legs are a simple T stand. It takes about 15 minutes to assemble (including cutting PVC pipe).

Step Three: Add rope lights, garland, hanging toys that make sound, beads and paper lanterns. The lights and the CD player (on the ground) are hooked up to a switch (the big yellow button on the floor).

Note: The picture is shown with the lights turned off. Visually impaired children will enjoy this item much more with the lights on.
