The Rickshaw Rehab Exerciser, model 3000, is an exercise machine designed for use by individuals who use manual wheelchairs. This machine builds muscle strength by duplicating the arm and shoulder motions needed for wheelchair propulsion, transfer, and pressure relief. It enables users to strengthen specific arm and shoulder muscles by facing forward or backward while seated in the wheelchair, and pumping weighted oars. The machine can be customized for an individual program by using equal weights on both sides or less weight on a weaker side. The machine uses standard disc weights (not included). Its short zigzag oars pivot independently or together, have an adjustable oar grip height, and use little floor space. The machine has all stainless steel construction and fits all manual wheelchairs. Weight capacity per oar is 100 pounds. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 28 or 32 x 50 x 30 (inside width) or 36 (outside width) inches. The arm length is 26 inches. CAPACITY: 100 pounds per side. WEIGHT: 37.5 pounds.
