JORDY is a video magnifier designed for use by individuals with low vision. It is worn like a pair of glasses, and can be used for such activities as watching television, using a computer, reading and writing, painting, playing cards or board games, and more. Objects are magnified up to 30 times. This video magnifier features a wide field of view, automatic focus, object locator capability, focus lock capability, and digital zoom capability. There are four viewing modes: Full color, black and white, high contrast positive, and high contrast negative. This magnifier comes with a control unit, a plastic case, a belt clip, glare shields, and a cleaning cloth. POWER: Uses a rechargeable battery (included) or alternating current (AC) adapter (included); a battery charger is also included. OPTIONS: Soft carrying case; JORDY Stand allowing the unit to be used as a desktop video magnifier (see separate entry).
