Toby Tote
The Toby Tote is an exhalation kit designed for use with children with tracheostomies. This kit include therapy toys designed to teach children to exhale orally when using the Passy-Muir Speaking Valve (see separate entry) to promote voicing. The kit includes blow horns, a dino whistle, pinwheels, and dino bubbles to encourage the child to practice oral exhalation. Also included are dinosaur wind-up toys and erasers for use as rewards for therapeutic achievements.

PMV Secure-It is an assistive speech device accessory designed for use by individuals who have had tracheostomies. Designed specifically for use with the Passy-Muir Tracheostomy and Ventilator Speaking Valve (see separate entry), models 2001 and 2020, this device attaches the Valve to the tracheostomy tube tie to prevent loss.

The Oxygen Adapter, model PMA 2000, is a tracheostomy tube accessory designed for use by individuals who have tracheostomies. This small, lightweight adapter clips to the Passy-Muir Tracheostomy and Ventilator Speaking Valves (see separate entry), models PMV 2000 and PMV 2001, and permits easy inhalation of low flow supplemental oxygen and humidity. Both the plush toy and the puppet come with a Shiley tracheostomy tube and a Passy-Muir Speaking Valve (see separate entry) to provide therapists and caregivers with an introduction to therapy for children with tracheostomies and facilitate vocalization.

Passy-Muir Tracheostomy and Ventilator Speaking Valves are assistive speech devices designed for use by individuals with tracheostomies or who use ventilators. These small, lightweight one-way valves attach to tracheostomy tubes and allow the inflow and outflow of air so users can speak without manual occlusion. Each valve fits most standard permanent or disposable trach tubes and is packaged in a color-coded patient care kit. Each kit includes one valve, one storage container, one clinical inst
