A chili cook-off and sale will be held by the National Association for Black Veterans

Nov. 28--WILMINGTON -- The members of the Wilmington, NC chapter of the National Association for Black Veterans (NABVETS) will be holding a chili cook-off and sale on Saturday, Dec. 12 in the parking lot at 1308 S. 16th St. Masks are required and social distancing protocols will be followed.
The public is welcomed to enter their own chili in the "Best Chili Competition" for a chance to win a $50 cash prize. To register for the competition, please call US Army veteran, Shannon Lyons at 203-362-9473. The deadline to register is Tuesday, Dec. 1.
Proceeds will benefit the Wilmington, NC NABVETS Chapter Scholarship Fund.
